Qualifications
I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor.I have trained at The Westminster Pastoral Foundation Sutton (2001),Guildford College of Further Education (2003) and qualified at the Pellin Institute London (2007) as a Counsellor.
I am working towards BACP accreditation.
The above mentioned training covered Psychodynamic,Integrative and Hunamistic approaches to therapy.
I work with all of the above models and also incorporates cognative therapy into my service.
I have worked in industry for many years and gained experience in supporting others within fast moving work environment. I have experience of working within small and large blue chip companies. Which has enabled me to gain an indepth awareness of how the pressure of work has a major affect on our whole way of life.
I have worked in the Youth Service supporting young people for a number of years. I now work part time in a charity specialising in offering counselling and support to young people. Growing up is a difficult phase in people's lives and sometimes that little extra support it required to make the transition easier.
